I think this was the first AHG bonfire I have missed due to leaving town on Sunday for work. And I did not have a lot of information about this event, but I know they had fun as always. And what made my day was on my arrival at the hotel that evening, both Mr. Jimmy and Magan had sent me videos of Belle leading "Hey Joe", the song that I brought to the AHG troop. And while I was sad not to be there singing with them, that was always the plan...bring them to the girls and let them lead the next group.
Belle assumed the role of Master of Ceremonies again for this event, and Ms. Shaley later told me that Belle did an excellent job again. I caught her looking through my book of scout jokes to help prep with some cheesy dad jokes for the event. This is a requirement of any type of scouting event, to include the cheesiest and worst jokes ever. Granddaddy would fit into these bonfire events perfectly. :) So you may or may not can tell, Belle, Ruby and Magan are the more social bugs flying around this bonfire. I am pretty sure I see some "Sticky Sticky Waffles" in these pictures.
