It was a fun Easter to be with family, where we began with a large lunch at the Sartins. Belle made the cutest like chick cakepops that tasted amazing. I think this was the first time made with lemon cake. We had a fun egg hunt that the kids loved, and Ruby was a little annoyed to find that one of her eggs had just trash from some candy hidden in there. Someone with the initials SAM ate the candy out of it and left the trash. Ruby told us later that she had to walk around to the back of the house to cry a little when she found out Nanny was not coming. We loved this gathering, but did really miss our nanny.
After that giant meal, we headed over to Granny and Granddaddy's for another meal. I really don't remember much about this day, except for Granny sharing the "poop in the bank lobby" story that had everyone cracking up. Happy Easter!
