Lily White Photography

I finally got my web-site up and going! It is a lot of work to get started on something like this, but I love it so much!

The name Lily White goes back to my dad. He used that term to desribe many things and I laugh a little inside when I say it. It may be silly, but as I have wrote before I wish that I had more pictures of my dad and with my dad through years. So I want to give that gift to the people I take pictures for.
It is comforting to know that I can look back at my babies' sweet rolls when they are grown and married. I can also remember how young we were as by that time Scott and I will probably have strands of white and fine lines and wrinkles. I love growing and growing together. There is so much beauty in a long life together as a family. God set up a wonderful gift for us here on Earth, the gift of our family. It is worth every effort to build a strong family bond.
I'll get off my soap box now and give you the web-site to my page. Take a look when you find the time :)
Let me know what you think!

Critters, Candy, and Dwarfs

All the girlies wanted a picture with Snow White :)

Dopey hugging Snow White :)

We had an awesome Halloween this year! It has been so busy we had something to do almost every night for the past few weeks.
We dressed up, per Sam's request, as Snow White, Grumpy, Dopey, and Doc. Sam knew exactly who he wanted everyone to be and he didn't want SCott to be PRince Charming. So I had my three dwarfs and they were all adorable! I loved their hats! Mamaw made all of our costumes and she did a great job!
On Halloween day we went to a friend's house in the morning for a get-together. This is where the video of the with the dog was shot. That big dog would was so funny! He would rub up against the fence dying for some petting :) Davis thought it was hilarious and the other kids gathered around to see what was so funny and then started laughing with him. He would love to have a dog for Christmas, but we are afraid to commit to another living thing to care for right now. Do you all have any input on this one?

That night we did the usual trick or treating and loved finally getting to meet some of our neighbors briefly at their doors. To finish the night, we headed up to the Gerald's house on the hill behind our house. Jeneatte had called and told us to be sure to drop by. When we opened the door a deer was standing in the foyer of their house! She is their pet that runs freely in the woods and returns for her meals and to visit when she wants. The boys got to feed her a bottle and it was the coolest thing I have seen in a long time. I GOT TO PET A DEER! Her name is Bella and she has a special bond with Jeneatte, it is precious to see them together. She followed her all over the house. I really can't describe how neat it was.

The night before Halloween we went to Disney on Ice with a lot of our cousins. That was so much fun as well! I didn't expect it to be as much fun as it was. We got our tickets at a bargain price and they were great seats. We had 7 children with us and no one got bored with the show, that was pretty impressive to me. Even Davis sat still and loved watching it. He waved at the characters with his little hand because they were real to him! Everyone filled up on cotton candy and some of the kids found themselves dancing on their way out of the BJCC. I think it was a little bit of their excitement overflowing and little bit was from the sugar intake :)

We also went to Old Baker Farm to get our pumpkins. That was the best family day out! The boys LOVED THE "puntins" as Davis said a million times! Sam was sooo proud of his little green pumpkin he found. He carried it everywhere for the first few days, yes even in the car. He took it to bed at night and one day I talked him into letting me put it out on the porch (I was afraid somebody would bust it in the livingroom, to Davis it was a BALL) As I laid him in bed he looked up with those big brown eyes and said, "Mom, my pumpkin is cold" So YES, it came back in the house and got covered up in the bed to keep it warm. That little boy had probably been worried about that pumpkin all day :)
The picture of Sam on Scott's shoulder is where they are watching a civil war reinactment. They are both pretty into the craziness of the whole thing. I think it is crazy, but I guess it does have share the history with a younger generation. Scott found himself not knowing which side to tell Sam had the bad guys on it :)
I have a lot of other pictures I could add, but I know this is more than enough!

We could have fed the house all day and they would have both been perfectly happy. They loved him, so did I :)

That is all I can think of at the moment, I will write more if I remember something else!

The Disney on Ice crew, love these kids!
