Another fun scout meeting, and this time we were meeting an achievement on having a Positive Attitude and having a collection. Davis asked if he could take a picture...what I did not realize is that he became the photographer for the event. I really never even saw him take one of these pictures, but he did really good. He even blurred the background like his mom. I think he has some talent for this. I really liked the picture of himself, then the one he took of the airplanes.
Anyway, Sam shared with the den his collection of Disney Pins. We had a really good time looking around the museum after our meeting. The race course was nice, and they had some Porsches out on the course while we were there.
The red bike below was Sam's favorite, and of course the boys loved this cool elevator with a race car on top. We found Captain America's army motorcycle, and an RV motocycle for granddaddy. The last picture was just a random picture that I really liked around the house.

Hiking at Oak Mountain
This is somewhat of an annual hike for me and the boys, and I just love being out with them. We took a quick stop to Bojangles for our packed lunch, and I could not believe how much these boys could eat after hiking. We first made the 0.5 mile trek to the wildlife rescue center, where we didn't get to see much, but did get to see a Kesterel ?? I think is what the lady is holding. After this hike, we drove up the mountain to Peavine Falls.
The hike down to Peavine is on a pretty big track most of the way, but the boys would run ahead of me everytime they saw a bench, because they knew I would not stop for them to rest. :) We finally made it to the top of the falls, then down to the bottom. It was a really fun hike. We were able to find a place to cross, then climbed the steep mountain back instead of taking the path. Nice to sit at the bottom of a waterfall eating some Bojangles...or what was left of the Bojangles.

Monster Jam
Monster Jam time again. And this time, thanks to granny and grandaddy, we had Pit Passes to go down in the Pit and see these Monster Trucks. Of Course Grave Digger is the best! Davis and Sam were able to meet most of the drivers and get some autographs.
Time to get LOUD!!! Gravedigger won the wheelie jump competition, but lost to the Gunslinger in the races, and then I think Monster Mutt won the Freestyle. I say it was rigged. He had a much better run, and the last picture shows gravedigger going off the big ramp.
They also had motorcross jumpers, three guys in the "death sphere", and some lawn mower racing...you know it was classy. We had fun, but I am thinking this one can be crossed off of the yearly events. And Sam and Davis, I hope one day you will understand it is just fun being in these places, and you don't need a $20 thing of cotton candy, even if it does come with a grave digger hat.

A Day at McWane
I must admit, I don't remember any big stories for this day, only that we were planning to take the kids with all of their cousins, but everyone backed out, so we went anyway. And as usual, had a good time. The boys love the zip line, and Belle can ride up and down the slide all day long.
And after pleading with Magan to take the roller coaster car back to Walmart, since her and her mom schemed together to get it into our house through a Christmas present, you can see that my plead did not work. There is no way this thing can stay upstairs...and you can tell the kids just really don't like it one bit. OK, they love it, but I don't like tripping over it.
