From Magan's Facebook Post: "Went with this guy to Bama Bound earlier this week and had some good laughs and also information overload. I’m so excited for him and I’m also trying to hold on to every extra second I get to spend with him this summer too. Proud of him and so happy he gets to go to Bama with his brother next year For the 1000th time this week I’m going to say Roll Tide!"
I think they had a good time, and I somehow missed the photo of Magan riding a stationary bike to stir her smoothie. Davis ran over and grabbed both a video and picture, but I must not have saved it. His new dorm is right in the middle of campus, and a great location. His roommate is a good friend from Chelsea, so I think this guy is going to have a great first year. He continues to rack up more scholarships, so first year is almost completely paid already.
Never did I ever think we would have two boys both at the University of Alabama, but money talks, and it seems to be a great fit for our family...and great church group for these boys...We think Davis has the work ethic from high school to put in the time where he needs it to get good grades like Sam. He did get a weird schedule that looks like he can sleep in about every morning, but I don't know if that is good or bad, I guess time will tell.
I can not believe we only have one more month till Davis leaves the house. We will really miss him, but he is bouncing to get to Tuscaloosa, and I am glad him and his brother will at least have a semester or two together during college. And a bonus is that they found a German restaurant in Tuscaloosa while there, so we now have to go over and try it as a family. And I guess we will end with a "Roll Tide".
