Florida College Camp Week - Best Week Since Last Year

The Chelsea crew was very well represented at FC camp this year, and Ruby got alot of attention on our drive in being a "First Time Camper".

Apparently there was some drama with Aaron Craig and his sister jumping to a new society...Ruby may have won the prize for most Happy Mail during the week (38 pieces), but she probably set the record for most happen mail sent also...Our Belley Bug sang some Adele during the talent show, always making us proud, and happy for the ones that sent us videos...apparently Claire was a winner at GaGaBall alot...Davis, Samuel, and Eli probably never slept...I think Jamison wrote Davis' Senior roast line, but I don't remember what it was...It rained alot that week, and there was a lot of wet clothes...One of the girls cabins had some backed up sewage, which is never fun...Ruby cried because she had an incredibly rude girl that slept under her and did not want Ruby accidentally touching her bed...Uncle Mark was apparently the most accessible uncle this week, and we loved all the selfies with him....Aaron Craig sent us a note with the Happy Mail that Ruby sent saying "She is officially my new favorite camper"...We heard that there was one broken arm on the slip and slide, and one other late night paramedic visit that week....Davis jumped into the river and got completely soaked on the Senior hike...Ruby really liked the Boba tea at the coffee house during free time...Ruby met a a lot of new friends, so many that Davis and Belle said they could never find her, as she was off with her friends...

Pick Up time was early on a Saturday morning, and I arrived on time to pick up Davis, but of course he was not ready, so I grabbed Belle, then Ruby, then before we left, we got a call to also pick up the Rawls.   When I picked up Ruby at her cabin, I had to wait while she hugged like 20 other girls goodby.  So at Chick Fil A in Jasper, I heard many of these stories above (probably more I forgot), but I also saw many tired eyes that did not get any sleep that week...and they were all closed by the time we got back to Chelsea.   I don't think we will have to push Ruby much to go back to camp next year.
