Auburn Game

What a fun day!  When grandaddy invited us to the AU vs Samford game way back at the beginning of the season, I was excited, and quickly agreed.  This would be a perfect game to introduce the boys to college football and the AU tigers.  It was a late game, but that gave us plenty of time to enjoy the campus, Tigerwalk, Tiger Rag store, Baseball field, and the Stadium.  And Grandaddy opened up a treasure of AU gear for me and my boys...we got jerseys, sweatshirts, popcorn bucket hats...it was like an AU Christmas!

Sam was looking all over campus for a map, and was very excited to find one.  And the boys were both super excited to see the baseball field too.  Slowly the temperature decreased during the day, the wind picked up, and the rain then started coming done in the first quarter.  But our crew had no problems, seats were in a very nice area right on the goal line, and we found some dry area up near the concession stand.  It was a slow start for Auburn, but they easily pulled ahead of Samford.  The boys loved seeing the Eagle land on the field...when it finally decided to land.  I think both of them are converted War Eagle fans.  The game ended perfect for us watching AU score on our endzone one last time before heading to the car.
