How do you go to Huntsville, without making an attempt to go to the Space and Rocket Center? Always a favorite of mine, I think because of that perfect real estate along the interstate with all of the rockets. The picture at the top shows the kids at the end of our trip where we always run through all of the planets, then get our picture at Pluto. And one day maybe we'll get to stay in the Space Camp habitat and look through those windows at Pluto.
This is also the place where Davis fell in love with scuba divers, and not be disappointed, but there were two in the tank doing various training exercises. Then one came over to play with Belle and Davis. Pretty cool.
Now this picture of Sam just makes me and Mom laugh. He was at just the right angle for this bicycle contraption.
Outdoors, the girls ran to the outdoor play area, it was nice, but Ruby started getting eat up by mosquitos. Davis, Sam and I went to ride the G force, which I have not ridden in years, and after that machine got up to top speed, I realized why I will never ride it again. I could not breath...Not a fun ride at all. So I got off, and Sam and Davis rode it again. Then Sam and I went off to the space shot, while Davis was going to the kid area with the girls. I found out later, that he decided to ride the G force TWO MORE times before going. Crazy kid, but he does not like drops, so he left that to me and sam.
Ruby had the most fun inside at the traveling robot animal area. She thought they were funny, except for the robot bat. She did not like it. Do you want to pet it, I would ask. And she has the cutest little way of saying No. "Naaoooh" with her soft little voice.
And off to the family get together, the kids got the last picture after they travels to the moon!
