Ladies Beach Trip - Hilton Head

You may can gather from the title of this blog, or from the pictures below, that I was not in attendance.   But as I write the blogs, I listened to all the fun stories of our pretty mama and her awesome friends, in probably her first Ladies trip.   I was glad she was able to get a much needed vacation, and happy it was with these other AHG moms.

What did they do with their free time?   They were on the beach, so surely they laid out next to the ocean to feel the sun's warmth.   NO, it was freezing this weekend, but they did get out and walk along the beach covered with coats and toboggins.   It sounded like they had some guys coming up to chat with them often on this walk.   One being a guy that threw a ball right at them, so his dogs would catch it and he could chat with them on the beach.   It took awhile to get away from this guy, and he spoke like he had been in the navy for a few years, but finally they got away, and luckily on the return trip, the ball was in the ocean, so he couldn't throw it again their way.

While back in the room, Magan did a paint by number, while others did a giant puzzle.   And did Magan accidentally stick her paint brush into her hot chocolate cup?   Well, maybe only twice.   The girls also found a shuffle board court, and whether or not they knew the rules, Magan said she did not know, but they had a lot of fun with what they called the rules.   There was a giant shower in Shaley's room that they all took turns using.   Magan described it as being in a car wash as it had like 5 heads shooting water at you.

There was two movies I was told they watched.   Stand By Me that was not a favorite for Rashann, but she got to see how "boys behave".   And then there was a Shaley pick called "Bookworm", which apparently was one of the weirdest movies any of them had ever seen.   It became the ruler for all other activities for the rest of the trip.   "So that was weird, but was it bookworm weird or less".

And Magan also liked traveling with "smart friends" that actually read the stuff in the museums (like in the lighthouse one they went to), and would even look things up in google if they wanted to know more information.   I am just repeating what I heard here.   Anyway, me and the girls loved seeing her smile from facetime telling us all about her fun days each night.   And I really hope she can do this more often.
