And one last shower for the cute couple. I don't think we have any room for presents if they had another. These guys realize how much they are blessed by so many folks that love them and want them to have a good start. Granny said it was like an old fashioned "pounding" where people just brought baskets of necessary items that will be needed in that first year.
So I was not there, but I heard from Noel that she loved loved all the decorations, and I pulled a few from Magan's thousands she took. Granny told me that she did not even recognize Anabelle with the straight hair and blue dress. I am glad someone grabbed a picture of Noel opening the Sequence board, but I wish we had her confused face when she opened the poker chips that went with it, I heard that was funny. I heard Sam was a trooper with all these little girls pulling him this way and that, so much so that he was finally rescued for a little bit. Ruby helped bring all the presents to Noel, and try to keep the paper and boxes clean during that portion of the event.
I will never forget this shower location, as it is where Stephanie's shower was, but I remember it mostly for short conversations with Alicia and Mrs. Montgomery about the potential of this new couple, Sam and Noel. I don't think any of us thought it would happen this quickly, but I think all of those mommas and grandmommas and perhaps us menfolk also...saw the twinkle in their eyes, and knew this day would come soon.
