New Year of Scouts beginning, and you know what that means...Rocket Derby!!! This is always our first event of the new year, and always a blast. Belle got to make her own rocket this year. I didn't get any of their rockets blasting off, but all three of theirs went very high. And after shooting the rockets a couple of times, we grabbed some Kona Ice, and watched more of the rockets.
And our first Den Meeting was again at our house, and was focused on fitness...hence the fruit dune buggies instead of magans famous chocolate chip cookies. We have signed up right now about 14 Webelo Is in our den (4th graders)...so might be pretty exciting this year...up from 7 at the end of last year. I'm sure there will be more Scout posts later.
