Davis was singing in the School Choir, so we got our first opportunity to visit the Shelby County Fair. Magan and I are thinking that this was perhaps in Davis' thoughts when he joined the choir. Anyway, we did get one family pic with a giant watermelon.
After the singing, We met up with friends to ride some rides. Ruby loved the dinosaur ride, but would NOT try anything else. Not as nice as the Peanut Festival, but we did get some caramel apples...some funnel cake...and some cheese fries...got to eat unhealthy at a fair.
And we finished our trip on the "1001 Arabian Nights" ride that took us really high for some loops. After getting Davis over the initial frightened drops, he loved it, and we rode it twice before grabbing Mom and going home.
