Kentucky Trip - Ark Encounter

Our second day of this journey placed us at the Ark Encounter near Dry Ridge, Ky.  Magan and I had previously taken the kids to the creation museum, but had not yet been able to make it to the ark.  This was a really cool experience, great museum, and fun time with the kids.  Let's see, what I wrote down for us to remember on this day...Ruby getting to finally pet the kangaroo, "He kissed my hand" she told me later, and what did she name her little kangaroo souvenir (Kissy)...And that playground was great, but could not have been greater for our two little boys Eli and Davis.  They could not get enough, we just had to make sure they didn't push any of the little kids out of the way, so they could ride the rides more...apparently from the men mannequins of noah's day, they had cool Hollywood no chest hair bods...The noah video's use of "scoffers gonna scoff" was a nice modern twist...I think we did capture the red headed sleeping guy that seemed to migrate from place to place, but was also asleep each time we saw him, we assume people were periodically moving him from section to section...

And our time in Dry Ridge found us leaving the ark encounter and going the wrong way on the interstate, not the wrong side of the road, just the wrong direction leaving a 20 minute round trip of extra touring.  Our showers in the dry ridge hotels were like a screaming banshee.  We did get to try Skyline Chili, which was not a big hit, but I am on board and would get it again.  The hint of cinnamon with chili is different, but not bad.  We also started to see Bennet the talking bunny, which was a hit for stella and the girls during the remainder of the trip.  And as it should be, we saw many many KFCs on this trip through Kentucky.  Looks like there was also a late night version of Goat Lords that was played on our last night of the trip.
