A Sunday in Tuscaloosa

We visited Sam once during his Freshman and Sophomore year at church, so our plan is to do better now that we have two boys attending at the Northwood congregation in Northport.   They have been putting the boys to work, with both of them involved with some bible studies on campus.   But on this morning, Sam led one of the prayers, and Davis served at the Lord's table.   Noel didn't do anything, she just sat there.   Maybe Sam can be a good influence to help her get more involved.  :)

We got to meet Mr. Bill who has taken both of the boys out on the lake, and is the crazy man that jumped from the cliff and got Sam to also jump from the 30 foot cliff...YIKES!   I think Sam also chipped a tooth on that jump.   Well, Mr. Bill and his wife have adopted Davis as their student this year, and I already received another lake day picture before the Georgia game, and I think he has also tried water skiing.   So, I think they have some good friends and great church family here.   Actually Mr. Bill and his wife are also taking care of Noel when she comes in town, so this guy is the best!

After church, the boys picked Teriyaki Madness, which I was not real sure of when we got there.   But after tasting the food, I am a big fan.   It did not seem like a place we were planning to take them, but apparently when parents come, you get them to take you to high priced fast food Japanese.   It was really good food tho.   Afterwards, I am sure one of the girls talked me into going to the Marble slab creamery for some ice cream.  And finally it was time to go.   Big hugs from the brothers to the sisters, and back to Chelsea we went.   I am sure the boys ended up studying somewhere.   Proud of both of them, and how great they are doing at UA.
