Magan and I had to split duties on this evening, as she went with Davis and Ruby to Eli's graduation while I attended the End of Year Choir banquet and awards. As usual with these choir events, it seems like just another small group of our church meeting as I sat with the Hamiltons, Rawls and Baileys The picture at the bottom was just for Magan, but I thought it was "cute" of Belle stuffing her face with the catered Italian food. We told Magan that this was the only picture I took all night.
So if you can't read the signs, Anabelle got a certificate for being in the Chamber Choir, for being in the All-State Chorus, for being a Section Leader, and most exciting to be the Outstanding Sophomore Girl of the Year across all the choirs. She seems to have found her passion, and she loves to sing anytime she gets a chance, except if it is just for me and mom.
And for the second year in a row, Anabelle, Sara Beth, and Linley received the Best Trio of Friends award, and I really can't imagine choir without those other girls. Nevermind choir, can't imagine our Belle without those two best friends. Even as I write this blog, they all spent the night last night together, apparently creating some new tiktok silly video. But anyway, I was super proud to be here on this night and watch the girls all squeal with excitement as Ms. B shared plans for next year's show choir show OOTB: Welcome to Camp! With each new announcement of a song, or even announcement of a wardrobe for a specific scene, the kids erupted in cheers. Love my choir girl, and excited for the next year
