Spring Break Zoo Trip

From what I heard, this day was great for everyone, even tho the zoo was super crowded.  I had to work on this day of spring break, so Magan got Marcia to come down (Only by not telling her about the expected crowds).  And Stella and Belle held hands all day as usual.  

 

Easter



A fun Easter, and Magan bought some dye for the eggs.  Ruby loved hunting the eggs as long as you didn't really "hide" them.  The Easter bunny brought the boys some whittling knifes, and the girls some high chairs for their babies.  The bunny also led them on a hunting trip through the whole house with clues leading them outside, inside, downstairs, upstairs to find some extra presents.  And we are still catching Ruby with candy that apparently she has stashed throughout the house.

 



Scout Pinewood Derby

Well it happened again...Pinewood Derby cars made and raced, and 2 lost wheels during the race, and yes, those 2 were Junkin cars, and yes, the people with the microphone made it known to everyone.  Oh well, at least the boys are getting used to losing at this event.  I did see a big smile as Davis' car won one race, and I think Belle won 2 races, but in all, we were middle of the pack.  But we all had fun as we do each year.  Davis' bear den made some fun carnival games for kids to play while they were waiting.  

 

Forest Oaks Kindergarten Circus

Anabelle was the magic bunny in the Forest Oaks Elementary Kindergarten Circus.  And she was the cutest little bunny ever.  Tough to find a seat in this one ring show, but fun to watch all the kindergarteners do different acts.  The magician, Sawyer, and his assistant, Hannah, magically pulled the cutest little bunny from the magic box.
