Just a day trip to Peach Park, but a crazy adventure, that made for a crazy day. We went to Peach Park to meet someone purchasing a stroller from Magan. But we like to visit peach park, and looked forward to some BBQ there and peach ice cream. We were set to meet the person buying the stroller at peach park after our lunch, yet when we arrived there, it was closed. Apparently we have always passed by when peaches were in season, and thus peach park was in season...but all was closed. So we decided to try out Durbin Farms across the interstate, and realized why we are peach park fans...cause it is just better! But a burger sounded pretty good, and we crossed over to the Burger King...where their grill was not working and they could not make any burgers...Yes, I just stared at them for a few minutes before this registered. And then on to Jacks, where they were open and they did have burgers, and the stroller folks made it there to pick it up.
So we did come back to peach park that day...but only to visit peach park express (gas station that at least had the peach ice cream)...then Magan's ice cream was incorrect getting peach pecan instead of peach caramel...wow, crazy day of things not going right...but from what I saw...it didn't matter, we were all together (even tho I didn't make any of the pictures) and we had fun. Oh well, heading down to Montgomery this weekend as I write this...and guess where we are going to eat on our way back up...Yep, it better be open.
