Daddy Daughter Dance - Moonlight Masquerade

So this is my third daddy daughter dance, and I love them.  And yes, if I can dress up to help make a few extra smiles, I am all for it.  This year, my date was a little smaller, and since she would be Cinderella in our moonlight masquerade, Magan found me a Prince Charming costume.  Magan is incredibly busy at these things, and she does 95% of the planning, so I love these days for me, but I know that she is so happy because again, they turn out so well, which reflects how much time and effort she put into this.

Magan was also the photographer for the event, and she captured some great memories as each of the girls arrived.  Magan also taught the dance, as we both watched the Beauty and the Beast scenes over and over to come up with a simple dance.  And that dance included twirls, and kissing the hand, and bows to the prince...it made both dads and daughters smile.

Granddaddy got to come down and be Anabelle's date, and she was very happy for that.  I don't remember seeing granddaddy smile so much.  And Magan quickly put Granny to work helping with the dance activities, but we were so happy to enjoy this day with them.

So what were some of the memories...Helen leaning over to Ruby and saying "I am so glad you are sitting next to me Ruby"...Belle and Linley helping to welcome some girls that were from another troop, and getting them to come up and dance with them...Magan trying to explain leadout to the dads...Magan trying to explain leadout to the Hispanic DJ....Magan trying to explain leadout to anyone she speaks to, haha, Magan, sorry, no one really knows what you are talking about, but it really was great!  Except for "Bohemian Rhapsody" playing during leadout....A fun cha cha line as magan lead us around....Ruby throwing her hair to her shoulder during "let it go"...and my favorite, because it was exactly like when Anabelle was little, I got to hold Ruby and spin her in the air during "A million dreams", and she loved it, altho I think she is a tad bit more dramatic than her sister.   :)
