What is Halloween? What is Trick or Treat? For one lady and coordinator for our church event, that stuff is nothing compared to the Chelsea Church Trunk or Treat. Magan does an excellent job each year coordinating this event, and this year was the largest ever. At least this year, we didn't have to compete with Liberty Baptist on the same day. The previous year, they flew in a helicopter. Those crazy Baptists!
But we had alot of families to show up, and a lot of fun trunks. Anabelle was excited to decorate the "Hocus Pocus Cafe" with Linley and Sarah Beth. And Ruby (The Queen of Hearts) worked with Magan (Cheshire Cat) to help build a maze that we placed next to the van. Her friends Ansley (Alice), Bennet (Little Mouse) and Claire (White Rabbit) joined up with me (The Mad Hatter) to host our friends at the "Welcome to Wonderland" trunk. And while all the trunks were nice, the winner of the Golden Pumpkin went to the ghostbuster trunk made by the Francis' clan. Ruby told us later "I voted for ghostbusters...I've never seen blow-ups on a truck before". And of course, Bob Ross (Sam) showed us how to paint some happy little trees (Davis).
