Belle's first opportunity to play volleyball ended in the Spring after only one practice and the onset of COVID. But luckily things had turned around by this fall, enough for her to play her first games of volleyball. This is a really fun sport to watch, and I enjoy this much more than baton. :) Belle did really good and grew alot thru the short 1 month season. She is not yet serving from the far back line, but we had to hollar at her a few times to move up so she cold get it across the net. She ended up scoring several points for her team, and in the final game, scored three points to help them win the second match...although they were beaten in the final match, and dropped out of the playoffs. She is already excited about the spring season. I never thought I would see my little princess playing ball, but it makes me smile just looking at all these pictures below. Got a few dad/belle moments thru the season too which was always fun, and we always shook hands as we entered the community center where there was a "no handshake" zone. :)
