Playbill - Frozen Junior

I am surprised we made it to this event, as it did not look promising for awhile.   All of us loaded in the car shortly after school to make the long drive to Hartselle for a 6:30PM show.   Everyone made it home except for Belle who had drama practice, so step one was to pick her up at the school.   She cannot use her phone, so we told her to meet us promptly at 4:15, then stalked her on Life 360 to see that she was not moving in the back of the school in the lunchroom.   So we texted and called hoping that the vibration on her watch would let her know we were ready, and then there she was at the van, only a few minutes late.   Plenty of time to make it.   We all planned for Arby's to go so we could get to the show early, then Belle noticed that her computer was not with us...and her phone...all were in the lunchroom where 360 told us they were.   So at 280 leaving Chelsea, we turned around and re-entered Chelsea.   Back to the School, where Sam and Belle ran to the back of the school to get the items left.   And now we were back...with no time for Arbys, Magan did an order in our car for ChickfilA.   And we were all happy, and on our way to the show.

The show was amazing.   Addie really did EXCELLENT as Anna, with a role that seemed perfect for her.  She seems so quiet and reserved, but watching her was a joy for this uncle that loves the stage.   Perfect musical number for "Life is an open door" except for Han's mike (com'n Marcia, get it together!).   And Stella sang her part as a young anna perfectly as well.   I loved watching these girls perform.   Watching little Ivy giggle at Sven (played by Eli) was great too.   And hitting the Intermission after Let It Go was an awesome ending to the front half, although even I didn't expect Magan to be in crazy tears at this point.   Oh well.   Marcia and all of the cast did an amazing job, and even tho I was not looking forward to hours in the car, it was well worth it.

I did miss a bit of Act 2 coordinating some neighborhood watch activities as our neighbor called me to check on his girls, and I was not home, so I did some random coordination with other neighbors, and then I was late back to the show.  All that to say, I saw the show from the front row and from the back row, and both were good seats for a really well done show!
