A Nuther November

Ruby had to do the pacer test in school, and described it to Magan as follows:  My throat gets smaller and my heart starts beating fast and I think this could kill people.

Elf story that probably belongs in December blogs, but going to go here, because I will lose by then...The elves were giving their babies a bath in the bathroom the other day when she woke up.  I heard her running out of the bathroom to the other bathroom.   She came back through and said "Mom, I started to to to the restroom in that bathroom and remembered the elves were in there.   I had to run to the other restroom"

Other things from November were just a hodge podge of random days...Ruby has been counting down the days to Christmas since 59...Davis went to the Biltmore mansion and Dollywood with school, and below is all of the pictures he got...Sam went to Nashville for the first part of Spring Break, getting to see the Predators play...Magan and the girls had another fun Operation Christmas Child box packing with the AHG...haha, a school lunch with Ruby with prizes from Missouri, and some Auntie Annie pretzels from the Atlanta airport...

Belle Turns 14

It really blows me away when I see my little girly with curlies getting so big.   She is such a beautiful teenager, with a big heart, beautiful smile, and those pretty eyes of her momma.   Ugh, It is hard, she still gives me hugs, but they aren't the same as those big ones from Ruby.   I can almost hear her sometimes during the embrace in the voice of Sara (no h, because h's are EW!)..."EW!   Dad hugs are EW!.   But she is the sweetest (Careful dish washer - NO, but sweet, most definitely).

She had an early birthday celebration with friends to see "Hunger Games...The ballad of Songbirds and Snakes".   I think everyone in our family, except Ruby, read this book, and we all pushed our way into Belle's girl party movie to also watch.   Oh, it was sooo good, even better than the book to me.   It was also fun to watch her with all her school friends, a super good group of girls.   After the movie, we went to Freddy's for dinner.   Magan got a cookie cake with "Snow Lands on Top" (lady at winn dixie was very confused) from the movie, and all enjoyed some fun time together.   Sam had to leave right after the movie to get back to school, but I am sure little sis was happy he made it.

Later in the week, on her actual birthday, magan took Belle on a small tour of birthday freebies, and while not a freebie, a sale item at Kendra Scott.   She was super happy on this day, and elected to go to Jim and Nicks for dinner that night.   And for a final present, Magan got Belle some macorons that a local friend makes...and WOW, never have I ever had those cookies, and those cookies were amazing.   We all tried our best to get our pinkie up for the fancy cookies.   Happy Birthday sweet Belle...should you read this one day, your dad would really like a hug, and dad hugs are NOT EW!
