The Choir Concerts begin for Belle

I have a feeling that there will be many more posts like this through Anabelle's high school years, as this was only the first of a series of performances.   She is in the Show Choir, in the Chamber Choir, and singing in the Theater Group.   And I secretly love at home when Belle has the dishes, because I can listen to that beautiful voice that she let's loose a bit more in the kitchen.   This was our first experience of these shows, and it feels like a church event, as we currently have 5 youth in the show choir.

For this performance of the show choir, it was just a couple of their songs with no choreography mixed in just yet.   They did great, but my favorite on this evening was the chamber choir.   They came down to the front of the crowd and sang The Spice Girls "Tell me what you Want", but in like a medieval chant manner.   It was unique, and fun to listen to.   They also did "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", which is again a favorite, and sounded awesome.

Sam drove home from Tuscaloosa for this show.   We had several that came from church.   Anabelle was able to announce one of their songs.   Sarah Beth introduced herself as Irish Blessing, which I learned later was planned to get a laugh...well it worked very well.   Cash sang some song about being misunderstood about being a vampire with the boys choir.   Belle got to go celebrate with everyone at Culver's after this show.   And my sweet Belle looked amazing in this pretty black dress for the event.
