Around the House

Sam got busy with his monorail again...Davis finally lost some teeth...Our sweet friend from church, Mrs. Burnes, turned 93...and a few moments at career day, Magan always uses this as a good opportunity to photograph the kids classroom friends.  

Easter

Happy Easter.  I think we forgot to close the door in the picture at our house.  Dyeing eggs, hiding eggs, and a day in Cullman.  The easter bunny hid the baskets all over the house this morning, and the kids had a blast following the clues.  Reminded me of the Easter Bunny's fun times when I was a kid.  Boys now have Baseball Cards from the bunny, and it's fun to see them enjoy them like I did.   And Belle had some CRAZY hair on that Sunday morning.

A Day out with Thomas

Highlights of the day...Thomas' eyes and mouth move this year...Davis blowing bubbles with his soapy Hands...Sam can hula hoop like a maniac...no air conditioning on the storytime train...new guitar playing dude...one day we will take the kids on the actual train ride...maybe.

Desoto Caverns

So we decided to try Desoto Caverns out with family passes this year.  And this blog covers our first two trips down there.  The kids really have a blast, and with the family passes, we get to do all of the attractions each time.  The attractions are what the kids have always wanted to do, but we haven't ever done.  And can you guess their favorite...panning for gems.  They LOVE this.  We get a cave tour each visit also, but I don't think we will do that but once every ... year.

These guns were air powered and apparently are set up to aim directly at the Dads eyes and testicles, because both were pounded during this assault on our pirate ship.  Sam and Davis are much smaller targets, especially as I was getting nailed trying to help Belle shoot balls directly at the ceiling above Sam and davis.  Belle could have played in the beach ball area all day, and we all started laughing at her continuous giggles while in the area.
