We had seen the flyers for the Chelsea High School performance, and figured this may be a little more kid friendly than the Footloose performance Magan and I caught at Oak Mountain last year. Some of our friends had actors in the play, and probably the biggest reason is it game Belle and Ruby a chance to put back on their old Halloween costumes and play dress up.
Ruby is super cute anyway, and in the Dorothy outfit, she caused many a smiles in the lobby as we waited to go in. She was sad that she did not have her ruby slippers but they no longer fit. The kids at Chelsea did a great job, and we had a really good time. Ruby was on the edge of her seat smiling the whole time, even though the show went for over 2 hours. I may have fell asleep, but I knew how it was going to end, so no harm done.
