The gifts are so overwhelming on Christmas Day, and at other family events, but this one is a good tradition where we take a night not so filled with those gifts and hand out ones the kids have bought with their own money for each other. Really sweet gifts and smiles from everyone. Sam got everyone some Krispey Kreme hats. Belle bought all of her gifts at Gingerbread Lane at school. And it was an interesting trip to Dollar Tree, trying to pay for all of the stuff while no one else saw what they were getting each other. But it was sweet, Anabelle even helped wrap her own present from Ruby, making sure Ruby first put it into a bag where she could not see it.
