Magan's 20 Year Class Reunion

Good Hope High class of 1999.  Magan had collected some pictures from high school for the powerpoint at the reunion, so I collected some of those for this post.  Magan did an excellent job as Class President to come up with this reunion.  We all came together on Friday evening with kids to Engle Park, then on Saturday, they came back together for dinner at Mae's dining hall.  Magan had prepared a power point slideshow, and she also had a really cool video of her last day of high school...it was pretty neat.  Not everyone could make it, but they did have quite a few.  It was also nice to have a couple of teachers there as well.  Mrs. Manning was one of their first elementary teachers, then Mrs. Speegle was there, and Mrs. Couch.

That is a really cool thing about attending the same high school...even tho, these were not any of my close friends, I did know them, so it was less awkward with small talk.  Friday night was nice to let all the kids run and play while the adults talked and ate cookies.  Many that attended on Friday, were unable to attend the next night, so all was good...I do remember having to rescue Magan from Mike Manning...wow, that guy can talk.

Mae's dining hall had a great area reserved for Magans class.  They had a large TV to play their slideshow and movie.  And on the other side was some live music playing a lot of tunes from our high school days.  So I am sure Magan may remember many other stories, but I don't remember much other than enjoying talking to Mrs. Speegle about her ancestry work in the Cold Springs area, I remember some crazy stories from Heather and her new husband that flies boxer Floyd Mayweather all over the country...and Heather is still Heather.  Clint is still tall.  And Chubby still answers to Chubby.
