Christmas at Home

As usual, we traded all the presents to each other on Christmas Eve night after making the christmas cookies.   Ruby and Belle were so excited to show mom all the stuff they picked out for her at the mall with me.   Ruby was happy to get those madagascar toys for Sam, as this was his favorite movie.   Sam, apparently wanting to reverse the Merry Birthday or just confuse it more, got Mom a happy birthday balloon that hung on her seat for the rest of the holidays.  Sam was excited to give Ruby an Alabama elephant, as Ruby loves elephants.   Anabelle opened Ruby's present of a slinky, and within 30 seconds had it twisted up and broken.   And me and Magan both got our own presents and wrapped them from each other...so that is kinda borderline ridiculousness.

Sunday morning brought lots more happy smiles.   Ruby got her laptop and her roller blades.   Belle got some Kendra Scott gear.   Davis got some tools.  Sam got some fancy heated gloves.   But then we all got the Chocolate gravy that Nanny made for us, and a breakfast casserole made from Nanny ham...can life get any better?  And Christopher Popinkins can finally be touched and held...at least until New Years when he has to go back to the North Pole.
