The City of Chelsea is trying a few more things, and this year decided to begin an annual Tree Lighting event in front of the Town Hall. Belle and the show choir had to be there to sing a couple of songs for the event, and while a good dad would have been there to support his daughter, another one might hate being outdoors when it is very cold, and the SEC championship football game was on TV. So I heard later that all had fun, but all were very cold, and glad Dad had NOT come. I heard that the songs were really good, and the tree lit when it was supposed to, and everyone loved the guy playing buddy the elf.
