Anabelle makes All State Choir

Anabelle received another choral honor this year, by being selected to be a part of the All-State chorus at Samford University.   She was excited to get out of school for a couple of days, practicing with her group during the day.   Sam and Noel were able to join us on that Saturday afternoon to hear the full performance.   The concert hall at Samford was amazing, and hearing the whole crowd sing the national anthem was pretty amazing, as you could tell some of these kids got it from their parents.   We are just thankful that Belle got some talent from somewhere else.

The performance was great, and it is very excited to watch Anabelles group perform...but then we had to watch another 1.5 hours of other kids perform that I had no real connection to, so I will admit, I fell asleep quickly for a bit.   I did get Belle a shirt that had her name on it...Very small, but it was her name on a tshirt.   You can't get that usually unless at the beach and you get it sprayed on.   Always proud of my girly with curlies, and she did very well!   At least the group sounded amazing to me.   There is a video out there somewhere of them making some cool music.
