Christmas at Nanny's

Christmas Eve breakfast at Nanny's this year.  Worked out well.

There are just too many kids running around at this place.  But all fun for all these cousins.  And Marsha and Nanny found the perfect toys for all...NERF blasters for each of the cousins to shoot one another with.  This was a good outdoor adventure coordinated very well by Marcia, even limiting the "bullets" each child could load into their weapon to 1.  keep loss of bullets to a minimum and 2. help determine who had picked up "extra" bullets.

Chocolate gravy is still da bomb.  4 lbs of bacon is not enough for these Gentiles.  Marcus needed a full blanket to avoid the wrath of Ruby puke.  Belle is the cutest little Doc McStuffins you ever did see.  Boy picture was almost messed up as...we forgot Marc.   Merry Christmas.

Chelsea Christmas Parade

Our Christmas Day Parade began as it usually does on the Parade morning, with us being dropped off at the middle school for our trek "All the way to the Winn Dixie".  But this morning, we got to include Davis, as this was his first chance to be in the parade, and he was very excited.  He took his job seriously, and was one of the leaders of the Tiger Den (front middle).  The boys are so different in many things, and it was funny walking with Sam who kept his eyes on the man in front of him or the road to stay in line, while Davis stayed in line fine, but was looking around calling out to his buddies that he saw.

At about the half way mark, the rain starting coming down, which made for a very ...wet... parade.  But it wasn't too cold, and we all got plenty of candy, necklaces, and plastic cups.  Belle even used her cute little smile to get a Metlife snoopy thrown to her.

And that night, we heard the sirens of the local firemen driving Santa through the neighborhoods.  We ran outside to see Santa in the truck waving at us.  Belle was so sweet this year jumping up and down and hollaring for "Sinta Clausse".

McWane Center

We haven't went to the McWane center in quite a while, so we decided to use some of our Christmas Vacation and visit.  Kids were always excited about the trains, but each of them had no problem waiting in the 25 minute line for the zip line.  I am always amazed at their patience to ride this rope.  Both Sam and Davis dramatically fell off the zip line at the finish both making flops onto the mat that sounded across the room.  And Belle handled the rope like a pro, swinging herself down to the ground so gracefully I heard some other parents exclaim how good she did it.

Davis then was about to touch like 5 sharks and several sting rays...I think this was the first time he had touched so many as he was very excited.  This was Ruby's first visit, so she is now a member.  And everybody was brave enough for the bed of nails except for Belle, who said she would do it but only on top of me.  :)  Oh well, I guess that is OK.  And the last picture is the kids in an 80 mph tornado.

Chuck E Cheese

It was a Dad night out...so what's more fun that CHUCK E CHEESE?  Almost nothing.  Davis was nice enough to use his tickets to get some cotton candy...which I thought was to share, but that was not really in his plans.  Sam used his tickets to buy a pretty little bracelet for Belle, and I can't remember what she bought with her tickets, but she just loves the Hoonicorn below.  Altho she now tells me it is a Unicorn, I just can't help calling it a hoonicorn.
