So our first day at Disney began early early in the first row of parking at the Magic Kingdom @ 7:20AM. This was our picture day, which unfortunately will not make the blogs because they are on Magan's camera card, and I have already spent a long time going through our picture folders for these blogs. We had fun with the park nearly all to ourself, Magan taking pictures as the other ones played with some Disney ducks (real ones).
We then had an awesome breakfast for me and Magan, but not so good for the budget...based on what the kids ate. For Sam, I think I paid 24 dollars for about 4 pieces of bacon. Then Magan ran off to see Elsa and Anna...big item DONE.
Ruby didn't have any problems with the rides, and would quickly let us know if she liked them after the ride..."I liked that one" after Peter Pan and It's a small World..."I don't like that" after the Haunted Mansion. I liked the new screens that linked your Magic Bands to make a personal greeting in some of the rides. The kids as usual liked the Country Bears. Davis was terrified of Splash Mountain...Davis, you psych yourself out just seeing the drops...Sorry for making you ride tower of terror too early.
We rode the Jungle Cruise for the first time in a few trips to Disney, and I really liked a couple of the jokes used. We got to see Schweitzer Falls, which was named after Dr. Albert Falls...com'n that is so funny. Then we saw the backside of water, as they sometimes call it...O2H.
We also tried the Dole Whip...which NO LONGER has vanilla ice cream...letdown! Magan and I have now switched allegiance to the Orange Bird Citrus Swirl that combines vanilla with orange...It was like a dreamsickle...and like the dole whip we once liked...when we could have vanilla ice cream.
Hall of Presidents was visited, where Sam is still trying to figure out which one of those presidents were robots and which were not. We finished Sorcerers in both Adventure Land and Main Street. Belle found a beautiful new bracelet...and when she learned that she could get both that AND a new Disney baby doll..."I can get both!?", she was very excited, and got the most beautiful bracelet ever.
And Magan painted the girls feet, then decorated them into all of the Disney princesses. So that was a hit with all the princesses, and fun for the girls. Even Davis made a Pluto foot.
