DISNEY - DAY 5 (Animal Kingdom)

So Ruby woke up on this morning wanting to see "Bacca", she was still thinking about our big hairy friend at the Hollywood studies.  We began this day again with many characters, but then to ride Everest.  Again Belle was the thrill seeker, but Dave upon seeing the big hill elected to abstain from this ride.  Belle, said she was hoping for more drops on Everest.  She was also not real impressed with Dinosaur, but all the kids liked the primeval whirl.

Our safari ride was fun, with little Ruby reminding us of a little Sam on the Thomas Train a long time ago.  As the safari ride went back and forth over the bumps, she kept smiling saying "Woah, Woah".  We later watched the Festival of the Lion King as we have missed this on every previous visit...and learned that we should have continued that tradition.  I think a similar circus performance could be seen at the Pelham civic center.  Really, this was not good.

We found out that the kids really liked the Wilderness Explorers and all collected many of the badges learning about different things in the park.  Belle was confused about the Finding Nemo show as apparently she has always thought it was "Finding Memo".  And finally I have some other fans of that show as later that night me and the girls kept singing "Big Blue World", and "He's my Dad", and "Just Keep Swimming" and "Go with the FLOW"...clearly the best show at Disney World.

I took Sam and Belle to ride one last time Everest as we had a dinner reservation at 6 in the park...then we rode it again, and then rushed around to ride THE LAST train of the day for Sam and Belle's 6th ride for the day.

And our rides made us get to Tusker House as the last people in...and the last people out...so as we walked out of the park, we were really the ONLY people in the park.  It was pretty cool.  Sam and Davis said we should call it JUNKIN KINGDOM.  And at the Tusker House, Ruby was Donald's favorite and she got to hold "quack quack's" hand as they marched around the room.  It was the sweetest thing.
