So Magan's plan was to hit the Splash Park this morning, but she was told that it did not open until 12. That ended up being incorrect, but instead they went across the street first and played in a fountain area. I was told the splash park was really fun...at one point some bigger kids came in and Magan was about to leave, but they left first, so the kids kept on playing. Sam also got his next big injury here where without his glasses, apparently he swam into the wall. This left a larger scratch from the top of his nose to his eye seen in many of the later pictures.
Later at the splash park, Magan knocked over one of Davis' bags, and tons of change started spilling out. Magan knew that they had loaded her up with "special" rocks they found in the fountain earlier, but apparently Dave Cousteau had also found much hidden treasure. After explaining to him as other peoples wishes, Davis was sad, and when they got back to the hotel, he ran back across the road to the fountain, and dumped his "BAG" of treasure back into the fountain.
That night after a late night at the conferences, we went to a BBQ place famous because #1 it is really good, and #2 because President Obama visited it because it was so good. We talked to our waiter about having the president there, and he was off that day, but described it pretty well from what the others had witnessed. Apparently both Obama and Hillary Clinton both came in for BBQ that day. Pretty cool, and it WAS really good BBQ.
