Road Trip Day 11 - Back to Alabama

On the road for 11 days, driven over 2500 miles, in the car for over 40 hours...but all must come to an end.  Our journey began early in the morning, and was a long 14 hours back to Alabama.  So we left with Davis having stomach digestive issues, and returned with those a little better.  Both Sam and Ruby puked at one point in the journey.  Both Belle and Magan had fevers over 100 degrees on the trip.  And Magan came home with an ear infection.

What was your favorite on the Journey?  Ruby...(hahaha, this was her immediate answer) "seeing dead people at Arlington...seeing the ruby slippers".  Belle...seeing the first lady dresses.  Davis...Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty.  Sam...Fenway park and the Statue of Liberty.

And one of the funniest stops on the way home was at a Chick-Fil-A, where we walked into the middle of a BINGO tournament.  With one old lady with a voice that resonated throughout the restaurant...even into the bathrooms..."BEEEEE - 6"....OOOOOOOH - 8....IIIIIIIII - 10"...Just a slow repeating monotone Southern voice that I think we all hear in our sleep still to this day.

So just some last few knick knack pictures, a picture of the MOUND of dirty clothes...and our last meal of the journey at Cracker Barrel.
