Another Court of Honor and more badges for the boys. This was the big event after summer camp, so they got all the awards from there. Davis is now a life scout, working on Eagle. Sam was awarded his 5th palm, each of which requires 5 merit badges beyond the required number for eagle rank. They both got to stand and welcome the newest members elected to enter the scouting honor group, Order of the Arrow. Davis should be close to getting Eagle rank by end of 2023. And Sam is just hanging on for a few more months and a few more adventures until he turns 18 in May. Recently he has led all of the younger scouts over several meetings, while the adult scoutmasters taught a merit badge for the older scouts.
