Service, Stewardship and Fun with AHG

I typically pull the AHG photos into the hodge podge at the end of the month, but this month, the girls were very busy with a lot of service and activities, and seemed it needed its own blog.

One work day included making some bible verse cards to help encourage some of the elderly that are visited and provided with food.   One sweet lady that received Ruby's card sent her a video thanking her for her card, and Ruby has since shared a video letting her know how thankful she was to be able to meet her.   Ruby's cards made their way to Pennsylvania to help cheer up our friend Ben Johnson who received a liver from his wife.   And one is on the fridge at Brother Dave Long's house, who never leaves her prayers each night.

Another work day was with Grace Klein making their way through a pallet of limes and lemons that had been donated to rid all of the moldy and old fruit from the lot.   They all said it was so gross, and some of the bad ones were mushy, or completely white.   Magan said that there was just a puff of white dust in the air all day.   One other lady there did not even use gloves, and that is nasty.

Magan also took her camera and they got official troop pictures on that day.   She also taught the photography badge to the tenderhearts with some funny stories about the girls trying to focus, and one that could not close one eye.   The PiPas had some game nights also.   A busy busy month for our AHG girls.   And I don't know where Anabelle ended up, but I think Ruby is at the Silver Presidential Award for the year.
