Dothan Work Trip - Day Pass to the Beach

It was a week where we were projected to have rainy weather every day, but there looked like one day that might work for a trip to the beach.   On this Monday, there appeared to be a break in the "Rain every Day" forecast, so Davis drove them down to St. Andrews to enjoy the beach.   Davis had been here before with his friends from high school, so he knew right where to take them to enjoy the day.   It was off of the main beach where there was a double red flag, and into the bay area where it was only a red flag, but with the rocks blocking all the big waves, the kids could sit and enjoy the day.

Magan bought this tent right before the trip down, and I think it was a skin saver, because the day of rain ended up being a day of full sun.   They grabbed some Subway sandwiches on the way down, and packed them in the cooler for lunch.   Davis showed Ruby which of the jelly fish parts she could pick up and hold.   And Davis also found some fun digging a large hole to hang out in.   Poor Belle was getting over the post-FC camp crud, so her nose was constantly running, which left it being rubbed alot, which meant that it was not the nicest feeling when salt water hit her nose.

Of course Davis and Ruby snuck away to see what it was like a little bit in the ocean side, which Magan was not real happy about.  They ended up spending all day down at the beach, and wanting to eat local down in Panama City, they found Wicked Wheel, which was local, but apparently not the best meal.   They all said they would have rather had Zaxby's, so it perhaps was not the best.   I felt bad for little Ruby, and her skin...she showed me where she was burned a little, and called it her Neapolitan skin...the dark chocolate areas, the white vanilla areas, and the burned pink strawberry areas.
