Sam and Noel - The Wedding Preparations

It was an emotional month for the Junkin Bunch, as we were finally at the wedding week.   I am sure to Sam and Noel, this took too long, but for many of us, it happened so fast.   Sam gave us a heads up weeks in advance, that he would be home on a Tuesday of wedding week, so knowing this was our last time with the original 4, we moved everything from the calendar.   Mom made a great meal, and we sat around the dining room table because the other tables were full of flowers.   We tried to soak in all of these moments as the last of this or the last of that...hard to recognize that we are just at the beginning of all the first of this and first of thats.   That following night, we had all made it up to Cullman, and went to Hanceville.   Afterwards, going to McDonalds with the Montgomerys.

There were so many girls events for Noel, that I will probably need a second mortgage for these girls coming along seeing this example.   But I know they all had fun.   Ruby and Belle had a blast getting their nails done, and Ruby only just recently (I am writing in July) got her nails removed.   Those girls love their new big sister Noel.   I think there was also a lady's brunch for the family on this morning of the wedding rehearsal.   I imagine they were all giving Noel tips on best ways to wash the dishes and clothes, and perhaps proper attire when cooking meals.

While the girls had their brunch, Davis, Wyatt, me and Sam went to play pickleball.   Me and Wyatt got beat on the first game, but then we started playing and beat the brothers.   They went a little easy on the serves to Wyatt, as he had just had a leg day working out, and could not move as fast as usual.   I loved watching Sam and Davis play together, at one time jumping over each other playing great together covering the court.   But Old Man Dad and Dinker Wyatt were too much for them in the end.   All ran back to the house for a shower, then headed to the venue for the rehearsal dinner preparations.

Everything was beautiful and perfect at the rehearsal area.   But of course, with Magan decorating, and making sure everything was perfect, we were the last ones there trying to get everything ready.   Just time to get back to Granny/Granddads to get changed and ready for the rehearsal dinner.   At least this was not the wedding, so surely the emotions could be kept in check for this evening.   And hopefully the slideshow works just like Magan planned.
