Sacred Selections High Tea Fundraiser

Anabelle and some of her AHG PiPa friends were some of the servers at this event held to benefit an adoption for Sacred Selections.  The Wilsonville church has somewhat of a monopoly on some good fundraisers through the year, and most go towards helping a member adopt a baby.   Along with a couple of other 5K runs, this tea actually took the cake because I believe it brought in over $12K that will cover all of the adoption fees for a local family.   Magan had a photography session in one of the auctions, and Magan "volunteered" to help with some pictures for the event also.

And luckily, Magan got some tickets to this event for her, Ruby, and Claire...who looked just mahvahlous...simply mahvahlous (Hope you are hearing Billy Crystal at this point).   So it was a tea for the little ones, and some work for the older one, but a successful event for everyone.   I don't remember any funny stories shared to me about this day, but we did talk about how the auction worked, as it still confuses me.   Every time you raise your hand, you had to pay $100, then the one who bid last got the prize.   Strange.   And when you take Claire home, there is almost always a cute animal to feed, today it was a new baby cow.
