Another year in the books with the American Heritage Girls. And this was the first in many years where Magan was not the troop leader. Behind the scenes, she still stays pretty busy with these girls, but I think she needed this little break to focus some time on our last year with Davis. Ruby and Anabelle were very active this year, Ruby continuing as an Explorer, and Belle as a PiPa. Ruby loves keeping up will all her service hours and earned the Presidential Service award (Silver) for her 80 hours of service. I think Sam and Noel were planning to be here, but skipped it for the Minecraft Movie. Haha, the earlier showing was full, so they missed this event.
The ceremony went well, and all the girls shared PopSiCo song from their normal campfire rotation. Helen and Ruby got to lead this at the ceremony. Then Belle was featured on a video the PiPas did to encourage participation in AHG. The PiPas did an excellent job with the video. It is somewhat sad to see my sweet Anabelle in that red shirt, as she is at the highest level, and with theater and showchoir, I fear these days with AHG may be short...but I also see how much she loves the campouts and activities, and pretty sure we have plenty more time.
