Another fun day at a new park, Animal Kingdom. Probably my favorite story of the day was the Kilimanjaro Safari ride, where Aunt Katie decided not to ride, so Magan grabbed Ivy, and snuck her off telling her that her mom was coming in just a little bit. Magan said that little face just kept looking back saying "Where is my mommy?", to a constant reply of "She is coming", because we want to teach children how to lie at an early age. Then when they finally sat down on the truck to begin their safari ride, little Ivy said "I don't think my mom is going to make it on this ride". And while Katie was spared the jarring and bouncing on this ride, apparently Magan's purse and pill bottle had had enough, and exploded onto the floor of the ride. So as others enjoyed the sights of giraffes, hippos, and lions, the little ones played a fast game of "Grab Aunt Magan's Meds". I think they found all of the spilled meds, and for some reason magan ended up ditching that days medicine later.
I did hear about Laney walking along with Judy Kay, but being very slow. Judy Kay, said "Com'n Granny" to which Laney responded "I don't see Granny". But later when they found Granny, Laney was quick to point her out to a very confused Judy Kay.
I got pictures back and forth from Magan during this week, and was surprised to see my sweet Anabelle had fallen in love with Kermy. And ended up bringing him home later that week. She said she got him because of his song, and his cuteness.
Granddad sprinkled the Disney magic at a meal at the Rainforest Cafe. There was the cutest Grumpy picture below. Ruby somehow grabbed a banshee. Granddad gathered two new popcorn buckets to add to what some might call an unhealthy addiction. They met a very strong jawed Pocahontas. And while not all may have told me, the highlight of the trip was on this day at the "Finding Nemo" show that had returned after being down for awhile. It is obviously one of the best shows in all of Disney, and I heard they had seats where the characters walked down the aisle just past the girls. "When you're raising sons and daughters, Try surfin' the muddy waters, Woah Woah Woah! Go with the Flow"
Placeholder for Grandaddy and Ruby biking trip that happened this morning.
