So below is from Magan's facebook post, and I think she summed it all up well. My additions are that the streamers were all me, even tho she never believed me, and kept asking Davis when he had put up the streamers. I even hit the van with streamers, which was new with her crazy tradition she started. And for the party with Ruby, she forgot to give me my pass that morning, so I would not have to sign in at the office...but all was fine, and I did not need it, it was not a long line. But Ruby gets very nervous on things that don't go exactly as expected, so she started gagging when I got in her room, and was on the verge of puking for the first 15 minutes of the party. This seems to happen alot when I come to see her. We always make sure we don't surprise her at school. And look at her sub teacher, she was so little...I almost told her "No, don't squat, I won't even see you".
Anyway back to Magan... It is always amazing to me how expensive a day of freebies can be...
It was the most wonderful birthday!!!! I started celebrating earlier in the week with gathering up some of my freebies. (Birthday freebies are the best!) The day started with coffee on the couch and a morning nap after getting the kids on the bus

Scott escorted Ru to her Christmas party for me so that I could get my day out with my sister. I came home to my cake (Scott likes to grab what is available and it’s always Christmas themed). So they sing Merry Birthday to me b/c it’s more fitting for a December birthday.
Then, in my new pjs, we all watched the new Christmas story movie together and fast forwarded to our favorite scenes in Christmas Vacation so that we could laugh til it hurt again. Thank you so much for all the warm birthday wishes.
