So over 2000 miles, thru Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota...and finally I am counting about 13 blogs...What a fun trip. Our first day of driving was a long day, and I gave up hopes of trying to get the kids to look outside away from games and movies, but they all smiled and cheered at each new state. And everyone was very excited to see the arch, then the talk quickly moved to if we could go swimming. You can see their joy when the answer came back YES. Our hotel was just past Historic Ferguson, but we decided to bypass that piece of American History. And as you can tell below, we also stopped at the Metropolis rest area.
