Driving Day 3 took us back through the exciting state of Iowa. On the way I saw some interesting billboards. One was still in South Minnesota...it was for the grand opening of the SPAM museum coming in 2016. So now we have something to come back for. Also was an interesting sign in Iowa for a Burger King/Casino. I like the fast food/gas station combo, but this combo was something quite different.
And the kicker for Magan and I was close to lunchtime, and looking for food. Not on a billboard, but on the Exit sign explaining the FOOD options at this exit...Our choices were "The Fainting Goat" and..."The Other Place". Yes, those were our options. Anyway, we made the team decision to continue forward and stop in Cedar Rapids, where we had a few more options.
We arrived late in St. Louis, and again got to see the Arch, as this time our hotel was downtown. Last hotel, and only three more nights on our trip.
