I think this was our 4th or 5th year in a row to come to Montgomery for the Marathon, and use it as a family vacation to the zoo down here. We always have fun at this zoo, and this time was no exception. New things this year included a visit thru the Mann Museum of taxidermy animals. Wow, why would anyone ever pay for this...now it is included in your zoo visit, so I guess we had to pay. Some of the memories from the pictures below was Dad trying to floss with the kids near the elephant exhibit...the bird tree that was grown from dead birds being planted...feeding the ostrich...and the COLDEST indoor pool ever...dear me...only two of this kids would not leave this freezing cold pool...can you guess which ones?
